FOLIO V · The First Circle

Enter the First Circle.

The First Circle is the Fellowship's founding congregation, and it is assembled deliberately. We seek people who want to build a sincere worshiping community with the discipline to be worthy of religious freedom — not an audience, and not a market.

  • Seekers and founding members — people ready to keep the rhythm: liturgy, integration, sabbath, vigil.
  • Board candidates — nonprofit governance, law, finance, accounting, clergy formation, safeguarding, and communications; a majority independent of the founder.
  • Advisors — nonprofit counsel, religious-liberty scholars, pastoral-care professionals, and ethicists.
  • Community partners — service organizations who can put the Service Loop to work.

ii · The membership covenant

Membership is a covenant, not a transaction.

Members covenant to keep the loop — intention, encounter, discernment, integration, service, return — to submit visions to discernment, to respect the lawful boundary, and to test every revelation by whether it becomes humility, truthfulness, repair, and service. Orientation precedes membership; welcome precedes both.

The covenant text is completed in formation and adopted with the founding congregation. Adopted at convening

iii · Founding support

The pledge ledger.

Founding support funds counsel, governance, worship launch, and public service — the lawful container, before anything else. Support is recorded as intent only: the donation portal opens after incorporation and bank controls exist.

Notice — giving never buys spiritual rank

Do not offer, and do not expect, sacrament access, clergy status, governance control, or doctrinal influence in exchange for donations. Use of funds is limited to the lawful container: counsel, governance, worship, formation, records, and public service.

iv · Public questions

Asked plainly, answered plainly.

Is this a psychedelic church?

The Fellowship is a modern contemplative church. Its public life centers on worship, study, integration, ethical technology, clergy formation, and service. Any controlled-sacrament theology or future legal pathway is conditional on counsel review and all required authorization.

Are you currently conducting controlled-substance ceremonies?

No. The Fellowship does not conduct controlled-substance activity unless and until qualified counsel confirms that required federal, state, and local authorization or court protection exists.

Is this medical treatment?

No. The Fellowship is not a medical provider and does not make cure or treatment claims.

What is sacred technology?

Sacred technology means tools used to focus attention, preserve memory, support safety, and deepen contemplative practice. Technology is treated as a servant of spiritual life, not a replacement for conscience, clergy, community, or law.

What is the Source Loop?

The Source Loop is the Fellowship's core spiritual pattern: intention, encounter, discernment, integration, service, and return.

v · The Frontispiece Press

Commission a frontispiece.

The record's four bound plates were engraved once and kept. If the press is connected, you may commission a fifth in the same engraved style: describe a rectilinear scene of rules, thresholds, and light. The press draws in ink and gold on ivory — nothing else, and nothing operational.

The press engraves through the Fellowship's own moderated channel; it keeps Technology Sabbath from Friday evening to Saturday evening.

vi · Return — enter the First Circle

Add your name to the founding list.

Interest, not payment. Say who you are when the register opens; for now, an address is enough.

Your address joins the founding register — one line in the record, used only to convene the First Circle.
